“As a pediatrician, I combine my pediatric medical knowledge with parents’ expertise in their children so that together we can make mindful decisions to keep them healthy, happy, and safe. Becoming and being a parent is one of the most humbling moments of my pediatric education, and I continue to be educated by my children and others’. I like to think of myself as the crazy aunt at the family reunion that people go to for medical advice; now that I’ve been working at Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad for almost 10 years, I certainly feel like an extended family member of my patients, albeit maybe not the CRAZY one (right?!).” – Dr. Carey Williams
When not in the office, you can find Dr. Williams camping, hiking, dancing, or cheering on the Duke Blue Devils with her husband and 2 children. When not enjoying the great outdoors, Dr. Williams loves to listen to podcasts, eat her husband’s cooking, and catch up on reality TV. An avid reader, Dr. William asks patients regularly for book recommendations.
