Dr. Mark Brassfield Announces Retirement

Dear CPT Family,

We are writing to let you know of some changes happening within our practice.  Dr. Mark Brassfield has chosen to retire at the end of September 2020. Dr. Brassfield has been caring for the children of the Triad, for over 36 years. He will be missed by everyone in our office by the way he brought smiles to our faces and showed compassion for all.  We are saddened to see him leave our family and also excited for him to begin another chapter in his life.  He will always be a part of our practice family and has left a wonderful legacy in the way that he cared for all the children throughout the years.  We know all his past and current patients will miss his caring way of making you feel special!

In Dr. Brassfield’s own words:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents of my patients, past and present, for sharing your children with me. It has truly been an honor to be involved in caring for your family. For me, I cannot imagine a better more enjoyable career. As I look forward to retirement, there is both excitement and anticipation. I do know what I will miss most is the interaction with my patients and their families. I look forward to seeing many of you in the next few months. Please! Please! Stay safe, wear your masks, and practice social distancing! These are challenging times! – Thank you! Dr. Brassfield”

It will be hard to replace Dr. Brassfield but we are going to do everything we can to make the transition for your family to another primary physician at our office as easy as possible. To make it easy on you, we can automatically assign your child(ren) a primary physician or you can call and request one of the doctors who have an open space on their patient panel.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions or concerns. We thank you for allowing Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad to provide care for your family.

Sincerely,

Physicians and Staff

Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad, PA
