Lactation Consultations are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Our goal is to work with new parents to create an individual feeding plan that works for you and your family.

This free service offers education for pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. Ready, Set, Baby has recently been updated to provide COVID-19 guidance and recommendations. Classes are facilitated by lactation training students and staff at the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute and are precepted by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Beth’s long career as an RN began in 1994 in the NICU. Since then, Beth has helped families through their most joyful and their most difficult days in NICU, PICU, Pediatric Oncology and Transplant, and IV Team. In 2012, she shifted her focus and became a lactation specialist. Beth has helped hundreds of families in the Greensboro area, starting at Cone Health Women’s Hospital, and now at Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad. Beth’s main goal is to help new families determine the best, healthiest way to feed their newborn, based on the needs and goals of each individual family.
Beth is married to an ophthalmologist, and is a mother to 2 sons who are now in college. In her free time, Beth is a runner and triathlete. She has accomplished 2 marathons and 3 half Iron Mans. She loves watching college sports, and falling asleep while pretending to read.
