Dr. Austin Cox joins Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad
Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad announces the expansion of their practice with the addition of Dr. Austin Cox. Dr. Cox attended Wake Forest University for her undergraduate degree and graduated with honors from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University for her medical degree. She has spent the last three years in pediatrics residency at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
When asked her thoughts on joining the practice, Dr. Cox said, “I am so excited to be joining Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad. Everyone has been so welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. It is obvious that taking care of children is everyone’s top priority. I love that the providers are committed to staying up to date with quality pediatric medical care. I can’t wait to become a part of both this practice and the community that it serves.”
Dr. Cox is married to husband, David Cox, an attorney in Asheboro, NC. They are both excited about living in the Triad and being close to family and friends. When not practicing medicine, you can find Dr. Cox cheering on her Demon Deacons, playing golf, traveling, and checking out new restaurants and brunch spots. Dr. Cox is accepting new patients. Interested parents and caregivers should call (336) 574-4280 to schedule an appointment.
